Cahill is currently recruiting for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our ongoing operations in Labrador. This position will be based out of Voisey's Bay.
What will you do?
- Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on diesel generators
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Troubleshoot diesel generators and routine maintenance
- Maintain inventory of all site consumbles and area ports
- Work with site team on deliveries
- Journeyperson certification
- Experience with large diesel generators and rotating equipment
- Experience in an industrial site
- Valid Fall Arrest certification
- Valid Aerial Work Platform certification
- Electrical experience is considered an asset
- Experience with high voltage electrical distribution is considered an asset
- Strong safety culture
