Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential data for construction projects. This role requires proficiency in various locating tools and technologies, as well as the ability to work in a very demanding environment. Camp and flights to be provided if necessary. Shift and rotation to be determined on individual requirements.

Duties

Conduct field surveys using electromagnetic locators to collect data on existing utilities and infrastructure such as gas, hydrocarbon, electric, water, sewer, and communication lines. Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed maps and plans for utility locations. Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with regulations. Maintain equipment and ensure all surveying tools are in good working condition. Assist in the development of project plans by providing critical survey information. Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience using electromagnetic locating equipment. Knowledge of total station is essential Proficiency in AutoCAD an added bonus Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly. Previous experience in surveying or a related field is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 70 per week
