to support our Oil Analysis Laboratory. This role focuses on
industrial fluid testing, reliability monitoring, and equipment performance analysis
. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in a production or quality control lab, attention to detail, and an interest in using data to help customers improve system performance.
You'll operate specialized lab instrumentation, review test results, and communicate findings to our engineering and customer support teams. This is a great opportunity to work in a

Key Responsibilities:
Receive, label, and process incoming oil samples from customer sites
Perform analytical testing using instruments such as:
ICP spectrometer
Viscometer
Laser particle counter
Karl Fischer titrator
MPC and TAN testing equipment
Record and interpret test results in the LIMS and prepare technical reports
Support the Fluid Engineering team with data trending and condition monitoring insights
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure test accuracy through proper calibration and housekeeping
Comply with all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines
Assist with customer communication, sample kit preparation, and lab logistics as needed
Required Skills & Attributes:
Minimum
1 year of hands-on laboratory or quality control experience
(industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas, or fluid testing environment preferred)
Comfortable operating and troubleshooting analytical instruments
Strong organizational and data management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and LIMS systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
Preferred Qualifications:
College diploma or university degree in
Chemical Laboratory Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline
Prior experience with
oil analysis, reliability, or tribology
considered a strong asset
Understanding of fluid properties, contamination control, or mechanical systems is an advantage
