POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for Journeyman Instrumentation Technicians to join our diverse team on industrial projects throughout Saskatchewan worksites. In this position, you will be required to support our electrical construction projects by executing any instrumentation related scope. This work will likely be mixed with electrical support when no instrumentation scope is required, or once complete. The successful individual will be flexible and willing to work and travel as part of the overall team, helping wherever needed. You will ultimately be responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient installation of all aspects of the instrumentation construction on whatever project involved in.

Shift:4-5 days a week; 10-12 hour days

Pay range: $47-53/hr

LOA: paid as each project dictates

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring the proper and efficient installation of all aspects of instrument installations and maintenance projects as required Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation equipment on new or existing Establish and maintain good customer relations with site personnel and customers Comply with Company's corporate Environmental Health and Safety manual Adhere to the Company and the customers policies and procedures as they apply to each project Ensure project safety, profitability, schedule adherence and customer satisfaction Responsible for efficient use of materials, equipment, and performance of all field related activities for each task/project Ensure field work is executed in compliance with project plans including specifications, project schedule, budget, quality, safety, and customer requirements Complete and maintain appropriate documentation including all required safety documentation and daily progress reports (LEM's) Identify and implement initiatives to improve project performance, to achieve net improvements for key performance indices Attend daily/weekly site meetings Maintain clean driving abstract and Drug and Alcohol clearance Maintain a professional image and a high level of service with customers and co-workers during all contact, displaying positive behavior, attitude, and workmanship habits Ensure the safety and supervision of all persons that could be put under your supervision if required, in an efficient manner working under you Lead by example Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Journeyman Instrumentation Technician Certificate Current Fall Arrest and EWP Certificates Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel Valid Class 5 driver's license Clear and Maintain a clean driving and drug and alcohol clearance Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
