Position Overview:
As an Industrial Insulator, you'll be responsible for applying, removing, and repairing insulation on piping, ducting, and other mechanical systems across various industrial sites. You'll work as part of a skilled team in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Responsibilities:
Install and secure insulation materials (mineral wool, fiberglass, foam, etc.) on piping, vessels, and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and work plans
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Measure, cut, and fit insulation to required dimensions
Apply weatherproofing and protective coverings as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols
Qualifications:
Minimum
2 years
experience as an Industrial Insulator (Journeyman or Apprentice levels welcome)
Familiarity with industrial sites and safety procedures (e.g. confined spaces, elevated work)
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
CSTS 2020 and Fall Protection certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Location:
Delta, BC
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday (some overtime/weekends may be required)
Pay Range:
$41-$55/hour (depending on experience and ticket level)
