Industrial Electrician
Job Description
This position is for re-location and is not FIFO.
Based in Northern British Columbia and founded in 2016, our client produces more than 4 million tons of mineral annually from their three mine sites. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting electrical equipment in a mining plant environment.
- A thorough working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and its applicable supplements.
- An understanding of acceptable safety procedures relating to work on site involving energized or de-energized electrical equipment.
- Being able to read and interpret drawings and manuals.
- Good vision, dexterity, and hand to eye co-ordination.
- Ability to work in a team and take direction from supervisors.
- Experience with PLC equipment and poser distribution systems considered and asset.
- Experience working in a mine site is considered and asset.
MUST be a Red Seal Electrician.
Canadian Resident.
Compensation:
$44.55 per hour wage.
Re-location coverage.
7 Days on and 7 Days off rotation. (No Camp or LOA)
RRSP matching program.
Mine bonus for safety as well as one for production.
Excellent benefits package including paid vacation.
