Job Description
Must be able willing to work any shift, including night shift(Monday to Friday) Candidate should have completed an apprenticeship program & certified as 309A and /or 442A Electrician in Ontario. Prefer candidate also have a College CET. Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in food manufacturing. Function: Perform preventative Maintenance according to specifications, instructions of Maintenance Management.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, the building and all of its
- Design and build electrical panels for machinery.
- Design and build electrical circuits to improve the performance of equipment and
- Industrial Electrician license.
- Minimum 3 years local experience in Canada from within a Food Plant Manufacturing
- Trouble shooting skills for Electrical & Mechanical problems
- Understanding of electrical circuitry
- Knowledge of PLC\xe2\x80\x99s, maintenance shop machinery and electronics
- Knowledge of building wiring and CSA codes as it applies to an Industrial
- Reading, writing and communication in English.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy machinery.
- Ability to work at heights, heat, cold, and within guidelines of Occupational Health &
- French not required

- Toronto, ON M5J 2N8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
- Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (preferred)
- Drivers Licence (preferred)
