All positions require employees to follow a 1-week rotating shift work schedule (days, afternoons & nights)

Overview of Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for effective troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance actions, installation and testing of all production equipment.

Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming will be an asset

Recommend technical solutions by examining all our machines, clarifying requirements with OEM representatives

Escalate unresolved issues to superiors promptly

Provide Maintenance department with the necessary information for required replacement parts

Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records

Requirements:

A valid Red Seal Electrician license is preferred

Any applicable trade related licenses are considered an asset. Must be willing to train for missing certifications (fall arrest, aerial lift platform, etc.)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to effectively handle time critical issues and meet deadlines

Ability to develop and maintain strong rapport with fellow employees and Management.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Experience and/or exposure to the food industry and/or food processing environments is considered an asset for this position

Must be able to work rotating shifts
