We are currently seeking an Apprentice

Industrial Electrical

to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the electrical assembly, wiring, and installation of industrial systems within our metal enclosures and fabricated components. You will work closely with the production team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting Troubleshoot and resolve issues with logic controllers and low-voltage systems Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams Use hand tools and power tools effectively for installations and maintenance Upgrade and renovate existing electrical systems to enhance performance and safety Perform regular system inspections to identify potential issues early Collaborate with other trades on renovation or construction projects Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in an industrial electrician role Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and logic controllers Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints Skilled in using both hand and power tools Effective problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with fire alarm installations is an asset

Must reside in BC or within reasonable commuting distance to Langley

Valid driver's license required

Additional Details

Must have at least two years of experience. Parking is available, but it is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you arrive early, you will be able to park in the Black Box MFG parking spot.

Schedule:

10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday; off days Friday to Sunday.
