Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications, as well as proficiency with hand and power tools. The Industrial Electrician will work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all electrical equipment.

Duties

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment in accordance with blueprints and technical specifications. Renovate existing electrical installations to improve efficiency and safety. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. Read and interpret blueprints to understand electrical layouts and schematics. Work with logic controllers for automation processes within the facility. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including handymen, to ensure seamless project execution. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role in an industrial environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in industrial settings is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory.
