The Advanced Design team has a multidisciplinary approach and provides design and development of advanced concepts to feed CCM\xe2\x80\x99s product innovation pipeline for each category.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate and propose new concepts, offering the functional performance targets that have been established by the User and Research insights.
• Provide Design and Hands-on prototype construction skillset to validate concepts.
• Deliver product Tech Pack for the Supplier to fabricate prototypes and samples.
• Integrate Science and Performance Lab insights into a creative process.
• Plan and follow-up lab and real-world validation.
• Prioritize anthropometry, user experience, biomechanics and performance enhancement over aesthetics.

YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES

• DEC or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in industrial design.
• Strong ability to communicate ideas by rough CAD and/or Illustrator and/or Hand Sketches.
• Ability to work both independently and within the Team, to resolve problems and take

initiatives.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Empathy, curiosity, creativity, flexibility, patience.
• Ice Hockey culture awareness.
• Strong knowledge of recent trends in Sporting Goods design, materials, assembly systems, manufacturing processes.
• Bilingual (French and English).
• Candidate must be available to travel to Asia (approximately twice a year for a period of two weeks)
