Position Summary
As a
Industrial Cutting Technician
, you'll play a key role in our production team by operating mechanical hydraulic equipment and other machines to manufacture high-quality gaskets. You'll ensure that all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with ACG's operating procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate mechanical hydraulic equipment with precision
Perform first-off and in-process inspections to ensure product quality
Package and label finished goods according to customer specifications
Verify materials, dies, and documentation before cutting operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Assist with loading/unloading materials and deliveries
Provide feedback on customer issues, equipment concerns, or delivery challenges
Follow all applicable procedures and standards (e.g., AS9100)
Support training of new team members when needed
Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma and/or 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance
Ability to read technical drawings and verify basic dimensions
AUTOCAD and computer literacy are assets
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
High level of integrity and professionalism
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Tow Motor License may be required for some roles
