Job Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mascot Costume Fabricator / Sculptor located in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area. The professional will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and crafting high-quality mascot costumes. Day-to-day tasks include sewing and tailoring fabric, sculpting elements for mascot designs, ensuring precise costume construction, managing materials, and creating the costumes for durability and functionality. Collaboration with a creative team to meet design specifications is also required.

Qualifications

Proficiency in sewing, tailoring, and fabric-based costume construction Experience in sculpting and crafting costume accessories using various materials Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, durable work Creativity and design skills to conceptualize innovative mascot costumes Time management and organizational skills to meet production deadlines Ability to work collaboratively with a design team and independently in a hybrid setting Experience in working with patterns, measurements, and prototypes Previous experience with mascot costumes and/or theatrical costume design is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Calgary, AB T2E 3Z6
