Job Description
We are in search of outgoing and fun people to join our team!
Indoor gardeners maintain tropical plants in our corporate sites. These include banks, atriums, office spaces, and anywhere our clients want plants. Maintenance includes watering, fertilizing, pruning, cleaning, monitoring, and treating insects and diseases.
Minimum Requirements:
Proof of a clean driver's abstract and hold a valid Alberta driver's license
Your own reliable vehicle for use during regular business hours (KM's within the scheduled routes will be compensated)
Be physically fit to handle the demands of the position, which includes carrying
9-14 kg (20-30 lbs) throughout the course of a day and walking 8,000 - 10,000 steps per shift
Enjoy interacting with the public
Provide outstanding customer service
Be well organized
Work well independently as well as within a team environment and can take direction as needed
Takes initiative
Be self motivated and energetic
Have excellent verbal and written knowledge of the English language
Knowledge of indoor tropical plants/horticulture is an asset
This position includes a mix of driving routes and downtown walking routes. Candidates
must be available to work 4 days per week OR 2-3 days per week (Monday to Thursday), up to 8 hours per day (KM's within the scheduled routes will be compensated).
THIS IS A PERMANENT, YEAR-ROUND POSITION.Regular business hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. We are not open evenings or weekends.
