Position Summary
We are seeking an Independent Sales Representative (contract role) to connect organizations and community groups with our art-based workshops and retreats. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys outreach, building relationships, and introducing people to experiences that enhance wellness and creativity.
Responsibilities
Promote Bloom Sphere's art-based workshops and retreats.
Prospect and connect with decision-makers in organizations.
Manage and document sales activities in HubSpot CRM.
Share workshop packages and guide clients through the booking process.
Maintain professional and ethical communication while representing the Bloom Sphere brand.
Compensation Structure
This is a commission-based contract position. It is not an employee role, and no employee benefits are provided.
Biweekly Business Development Allowance: $100 CAD (to support outreach expenses).
Commission: $100 CAD per confirmed workshop sale (up to 5 workshops per client package).
Weekly Sales Bonuses:
$100 bonus for 3 sales in one week.
$200 additional bonus for 6 sales in one week.
Series Bonuses (per client organization, capped at 20 workshops):
$200 bonus for booking 10 workshops.
$300 bonus for booking 20 workshops (replaces the $200).
Payments are made biweekly upon submission of written sales reports, confirmed client bookings and invoice.
Requirements
Previous experience in sales, outreach, or community engagement (preferred).
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Comfortable with a performance-based compensation model.
Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot experience an asset).
Interest in wellness, creativity, or the arts is an advantage.
Important Notes
This is an independent contractor position under a contract agreement in British Columbia.
It is not an employee role, and no employee benefits are provided.
Contractors are responsible for managing and remitting their own taxes.
Professionalism and confidentiality are expected at all times.
A non-solicitation agreement applies for 12 months after the contract ends.
