Job Description

We are a small company that does residential and commercial gutter(eavestrough) cleaning and other small jobs at heights. We are currently seeking and independent operator with their own work vehicle to help out during the busy fall season - lasting October through November until freezing temperatures set in (usually by mid-November). The job entails navigating Winnipeg doing small, mostly residential eavestrough cleaning and small repair jobs.

Job Requirements:

Must have drivers license and reliable work vehicle with roof rack to mount 30 ft ladder. Must be comfortable moving, setting up, and climbing ladders up to 30 ft regularly. Must be reliable and capable of working unsupervised. Must demonstrate attention to detail, putting in extra efforts to ensure customer satisfaction. Roofing experience and fall arrest training is a major asset. Eavestrough repair experience is an asset. Must be hardworking and in good physical shape. Must be punctual and personable towards clients and coworkers. Customer services is paramount. No educational requirements. Basic understanding of small engine equipment is required. Must have reliable cell phone with data plan.
About the Job:

Pay is hourly. Wage is negotiable. Could be paid as employee or subcontractor (must have proof of WCB and liability insurance). Pay is weekly or bi-weekly by e-transfer. Flexible scheduling: option for casual, part-time, or full time. Tools and equipment can be provided. Our service is very thorough requiring good attention to detail. All gutters are hosed completely clean, inspected for defects and pictures are taken to document work. We always inspect gutters to determine if repairs might be needed so attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues with the gutter/drainage system is required. There is a substantial customer service component to the job, so should be a positive and relatively outgoing person. You will be expected to communicate thoroughly with and attempt to fulfil the requests of the customer and their neighbors even if it slows productivity. Working interview (tryout) is $20/hr with cash paid at the end of the day for the training period.
