Job Description

We are looking for an experienced driver to work on call about 3 to 5 hours a day a few times during the week Monday to Friday doing deliveries throughout Selkirk, surrounding areas, and to Winnipeg and back.

The qualified candidate MUST HAVE A CARGO VAN to apply (ie. Mercedes Sprinter or Ford Transit).

We deliver anything from construction supplies to tires to envelopes to medicinal and everything else in between. You will receive orders from dispatch to pick up and load orders in your vehicle and follow a pre-planned delivery route. Support is also provided on shift by our dispatch team. We can have you driving with us as soon as a week!

This is an Independent Contractor position that requires the use of your own vehicle and your own smartphone with a 5G data plan. Compensation is paid semi-monthly on the 1st and 16th of every month. Delivery shifts are typically 3 - 5 hours in length.

For this role, we are looking for reliable and consistent availability on:
Monday to Friday between 8:00am to 5:00pm

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract Must have a cargo van (ie. Mercedes Sprinter or Ford Transit) A smartphone with a data plan Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Ability to provide a criminal record check Must be trainable and coachable Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate will be an asset A positive, can-do, and friendly attitude!

Job Duties:

Organize and load orders in own vehicle Pick up and deliver orders in a timely fashion Return all completed paperwork to dispatch team Pay is commission based (per-delivery)
