$21.54-$27.62 per hour (includes Alberta Child Care Wage Top-Up)
Base wage of $19/hour + Government Top-Up based on certification level (Level 1, 2, or 3)

About the Role

Little Owl Learning Centre Inc. is seeking a kind, collaborative, and dependable

Hybrid Inclusive Support & Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

to join our team for the summer. This position provides

over-ratio inclusive support

to a preschool classroom--helping foster a supportive, engaging environment for all children in collaboration with the teaching team.

This role is

not one-on-one support

; it is focused on working with the group, helping with routines, transitions, social regulation, and supporting the lead educators in creating a responsive and inclusive classroom culture.

Position Details

Start Date:

July 21, 2025

End Date:

August 30, 2025

Hours:

20-35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

September onward:

Casual ECE shifts available based on centre needs

Key Responsibilities

Support the overall functioning of a preschool classroom as

over-ratio inclusive support

Assist with transitions, self-regulation, toileting, and group dynamics Collaborate with the teaching team to meet the needs of the whole group Adapt to the classroom's daily routines and provide extra capacity where needed Step into casual educator roles in the fall (optional)

Qualifications

Alberta Child Care Certification - Level 1, 2, or 3 (Required)

EA experience or inclusive education background (Asset)

Experience supporting group routines and child development Current First Aid & CPR (Required) Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (Required) Strong communication, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset
