Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Participates in the assessment, goal setting and program planning.
Facilitates physical, recreational, educational, social and vocational activities.
Reviews and evaluates member progress and adjusts programs as required.
Promote inclusivity with peers while providing necessary accommodations
Develops relationships with member's parents/guardians and ensures effective communication with families.
Maintain documentation of participants including daily case notes, statistical, and program reports
Ensures that accurate program and member records are maintained, and that confidentiality is a priority.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate and relevant experience working with children and youth with support needs or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Valid class 5 drivers license, we provide the vehicle
First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
Hours: 25 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm (increase hours over school breaks).
Rate of Pay : $25.95 per hour and cost shared benefits and vacation time
