THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER (PSW)
This position does not qualify for PR application support.
BGC Dieppe is looking for a qualified Inclusion Support Worker to work one-on-one with a child Afterschool program. This position is similar to an Education Assistant in the school system, same skills are required. Early Childhood Education Diploma is required.
The child is on the Autism spectrum and requires support in various ways. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and ability to deescalate a child as well as the ability to be very attentive as there is major safety concerns. During the school year the shift is 2:00 to 6:00, 20 hours per week. Funding is approved until end of December with great possibility it will be renewed. Shift is 8:30pm to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday during the summer and no school days (PD, Christmas & March Break). Wage is determined by approved level of education.
