Springbrook Montessori Academy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Inclusion Support Educator
to join our team. This position involves working closely with children who require additional support to fully participate in our child care program. It will also be a position where you support the room staff as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small-group support for children with diverse needs, fostering inclusion in all classroom activities
Collaborate with classroom educators, resource consultants, and families to implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
Adapt activities, materials, and routines to meet each child's developmental, emotional, and physical needs
Support social skill development, positive behavior strategies, and peer interactions
Maintain accurate daily records and communication logs as required
Ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all children
Qualifications:
Experience working in a licensed child care setting, preferably with children requiring extra support
Knowledge of child development, inclusive practices, and behavior guidance strategies
Early Childhood Education diploma or related experience preferred (but not mandatory)
Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
