We are currently looking for an

Inbound Driver

to join our Production team in Chilliwack, BC.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to move lumber materials from the yard to the mill. Interpret and follow work orders to ensure correct lumber is delivered for processing. Retrieve, stage, and prepare lumber packs for mill runs, including unwrapping packs and pulling staples. Assist in mill changeovers between work orders to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. Maintain an organized and clean staging area to support safe and efficient operations. Ensure a constant flow of material into the mill to avoid production interruptions. Band, wrap, and tarp lumber packs as needed upon completion of mill runs. Communicate effectively with mill operators, supervisors, and yard personnel regarding material needs and priorities. Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and safe forklift operation procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support mill operations.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

Must be capable of regularly lifting and moving up to 50lbs Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one. Previous experience operating forklifts or similar equipment in a lumber, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and basic instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
