The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week)
followed by 2 weeks of rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Senior Mining Engineer, the incumbent will primarily be responsible for:Daily inspection of underground and open pit activities; Collect geotechnical data in the mines; Perform quality control on all installations related to ground stability; Follow up daily the ground control log for all mines; Prepare ground support or rehabilitation plans under the supervision of the ground control engineer; Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies; Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by his supervisor.

UALIFICATIONS

College diploma (DEC) in mining technique or a bachelor's degree in mining engineering, a minimum of 1 year of experience related to the job or equivalent; exploitation or geology profile; Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in similar position or equivalent; Open pit and underground mine experience; Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Deswik; Communication skills (reports, presentations, etc.); Valid driver's license and general explosives license are required; FMTM modules (1-2-3-4-5-7).
