Position Overview: ELA Instructor (In-Person)
This role is
perfect for current English Language Arts teachers
looking for consistent, part-time work outside of their day jobs. Ideal candidates are currently teaching ELA, enrolled in teacher's college, or working in a related educational field.
Important Note:
This position is specifically for
English Language Arts (ELA)
, covering writing, reading, literature, grammar, and analysis.
This position is NOT for ESL (English as a Second Language) instruction.
This is an
in-person position
requiring reliable commuting to our location.
Essential Qualifications
Teaching Experience:
Proven teaching experience in
English Literature/ELA
within a
North American curriculum
context is required.
Academic Proficiency:
Teachers must demonstrate strong academic proficiency and confidence in teaching ELA, which will be assessed during the selection process.
Technical Skill:
Proficiency in utilizing online teaching tools and educational software is expected.
Key Instructional Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to small classes of students or through private tutoring sessions in person.
Prepare lesson materials within program guidelines and accurately mark homework and assessments.
Actively work to promote and enhance students' interest and passion for English Language Arts and literature.
Teachers are required to be in classes a
minimum of 4 hours per week
.

Driving:
Parking stipends are included for our teachers.
Compensation:
Compensation is calculated based on scheduled teaching hours and prior teaching experience.
