We are looking for caregivers to provide all aspects of personal care for in home clients awaiting long term care, in Antigonish NS.

Duties may include but are not limited to

:

All Aspects of Personal Care (bathing, washing, dressing)

Meal Preparation

Grocery Shopping/Errands

Light Housekeeping

Companion Care

Medication Reminders

Overnight Care

Live-in Care

Respite Care (for family members or primary caregivers)

Patient Attendant Services for Hospitals/Facilities

Essential Qualifications:

Must have clear Criminal Background Check & Vulnerable Sector Check upon hire CPR/First Aid Certification is required within 3 months of hire Reliable vehicle required Must live in or around Antigonish NS

Additional Preferences (not required):

Current Nursing and/or CCA students can apply Current students enrolled in a healthcare discipline program can apply Persons with previous caregiving experience can apply Internationally Educated Nurses can apply Retired nurses can apply

Salary

: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

: Casual employment with 12-48 hours per week based on your availability and client schedules

Schedule

:

Depending on clients' schedule preference, shift duration could be a minimum of 8 hours to a maximum of 12 hours day and night.
