Position Title :: IMT Management Consultant, Strategist and Planner
Work Location :: Remote (Edmonton Alberta)
Position Type :: Contract
Duration :: 12+ monthDuties:

• Align data management platform architecture (Azure based), governance, technology, and service management with enterprise data strategy, governance frameworks.
• Provide strategic and architectural direction for integrating Azure based data management platform with other enterprise systems. These enterprise systems are based on Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ServiceNow, Sharepoint etc.
• Provide strategic direction enabling less intensive location intelligence capabilities on data management platform.
• Design and Implement portal for Data and Geospatial Services.
• Provide technology recommendations through proof of concepts.
• Update data management platform roadmap along with implementation plan.
• Provide guidance implementing the platform technology aligned with roadmap.
• Establish data platform technology standards to be applied on Azure platform (Azure is currently used, but scope may be beyond Azure.)
• Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations on data product development using agile methodology.
• Assess current, future initiatives and provide suggestions to grow and cultivate data capability, capacity, and culture from the perspective of service transformation.
• Create and present options, frameworks, models, and briefings for senior executives with regards to digital transformation, based on best and emerging practices and principles.
• Facilitate strategic conversations to develop shared understanding and generate options for decision-making to align diverse stakeholder interests and goals.
• Develop baseline and ongoing outcomes, key results, metrics, and other indicators.
• Advise and coach platform team throughout project lifecycles, from initial discovery and concept to production and continuous improvement.
