Position Summary
We are seeking an Implementation Specialist to support the delivery of micro-credential training programs. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for participants. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing registration and scheduling, supporting learners and instructors, and leading the rollout and coordination of the micro-credential training programs.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys making things happen.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all logistical aspects of course delivery, including venue setup, materials, and scheduling for live sessions.
Manage participant registration, attendance tracking, and communications.
Serve as the primary on-site contact for instructors and learners, providing support and finding solutions as needed.
Organize and communicate schedules and course offerings.
Implement practical solutions quickly.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and evaluation processes.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure alignment and smooth implementation.
Represent Academy Canada professionally and positively in all interactions.
Qualifications
Required:
2+ years of experience in program coordination, event planning, or project implementation.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office, Teams, SharePoint).
Comfortable working in dynamic, hands-on environments.
Preferred:
Experience in workforce development, adult education, or trades training.
Familiarity with micro-credentials and competency-based education.
Knowledge of the skilled trades and construction industries.
Experience working with diverse populations and applying principles of equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
