This is an onsite position working out of our Edmonton office Monday through Friday.

The Opportunity




We are seeking an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Implementation Specialist to join our dynamic Tax and CAMA team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone with a strong interest in technology who is looking to grow into a more senior position over time. Your primary focus will be learning business rules and product requirements while assisting in configuring software solutions for our clients, under the guidance of experienced team members. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Customer Success Managers, and Sales team members to support key deliverables and project milestones. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions to our clients.



This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time (or other time zone as mutually agreed).

What you Will do



Assist in learning, configuring, and installing software systems and necessary components under supervision. Help create product and project documentation as needed. Support internal team members and occasionally clients (following the sale of solutions) in gathering information to deliver software that aligns with contract provisions. Participate in client training sessions and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Assist in the transition of implemented solutions to Support and Customer Success Management teams. Communicate with Project Managers throughout the implementation process to share updates, collaborate, and receive feedback. Contribute to tasks that support timely configuration and high-quality solution delivery.

Requirements:

What you Will Need to Succeed



Technical aptitude with an interest in analytical thinking and troubleshooting basic to intermediate technical issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Strong documentation skills (or willingness to develop them). Effective written and oral communication skills. Comfortable interacting with business users to gather information. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset. Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

Any experience or knowledge of SQL Server. Basic understanding of Windows environments or development tools. Exposure to business analysis, system configuration, or application setup. Experience in state/county government offices. Familiarity with tools like Jira or Smartsheet. Interest in coding principles. Participation in planning discussions for client information gathering.
