Job Summary: Trapeze is searching for a Software Implementation Consultant to work with our customers to implement our Traveler Experience Software solutions.

The successful candidate will be the technical lead on our projects and will be able to effectively consult with our customers to understand their business processes and objectives. You will be responsible for requirements gathering and analysis, installation, configuration, testing, end user training, and deployment of the Software. You have a strong technical background and are adept at problem identification and resolution. You are committed to developing strong relationships with your clients and colleagues and have the presence to establish credibility and trust quickly.

You are an ambitious and driven individual and have the ability to quickly learn and install and configure Trapeze proprietary Software. You will be responsible for delivering quality project deliverables and working with your peers in the Trapeze organization to ensure that Trapeze is supporting our customers in successfully accomplishing their project business objectives.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Acting as technical leader for all Trapeze Traveler Experience projects supporting solution design and implementation.
  • Participate in requirements analysis and technical design discussions surrounding various web applications and iPhone/Android/Generic Mobile applications.
  • Confidently communicate about the Software and the Project status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contact customers, including their management, on a regular basis to discuss open issues, ongoing needs, and future plans.
  • Monitor the customer initial setup and ongoing maintenance processes regarding the installation, training, and ongoing support.
  • Maintain current files and update the appropriate internal systems and/or personnel regarding customers including correspondences, current configuration, personnel, etc.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our client\'s external web applications by assisting with planning, designing, and developing web solutions.
  • Perform training, consulting or other project support services (including telephone support and production services) for customers as directed.
  • Using your strong leadership skills and the ability to think analytically and strategically to resolve problems.
  • Work under minimal supervision and deal with multiple projects effectively and efficiently, meeting stringent timelines and changing priorities.
  • Support customer testing activities; log and track customer issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Developing and delivering project artifacts such as process diagrams, gap analysis documentation, and functional and technical design documents throughout a project.
  • Working with the Project Manager to ensure we deliver within project scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Working with Product and Development to report product issues and communicate gaps from customer\xe2\x80\x99s perspective.
  • Perform training, consulting, or other support for customers.
What You Bring To The Team:
  • Your background and experience shows an emphasis in Technology.
  • Experience working with MS SQL and Oracle Databases as well as writing queries.
  • Experience with web based service architecture.
  • You have excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, process, and procedural skills to include: root cause problem analysis.
  • You can approach a problem from more than one angle to find a timely resolution.
  • Strong Software configuration skills with an ability to work with system logging (windows/web/SQL logging) to identify problems.
  • Understanding of all Windows Platforms and can work independently while logged in remotely into networks and server environments.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills, are organized and detail oriented plus have strong customer and relationship management skills.
  • You are confident in dealing at all levels of a client organization.
  • You have the ability to work under minimal supervision and deal with multiple projects effectively and efficiently, meeting stringent timelines and changing priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to think analytically and strategically are necessary to be successful in this role.
  • You have a commitment to providing the best customer service possible and the ability to represent Trapeze favorably with clients and work as a team with internal resources.
  • Superior command of written English with a demonstrated ability to produce quality documentation.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 to 5 years of direct customer facing experience in a technical software implementation or support role
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of relational database management systems and Microsoft SQL including reading and writing SQL queries
  • Experience working with web products and able to read and assess HTTP requests and responses
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server
  • Previous experience and/or knowledge of the transit industry is an asset
  • Experience working with productivity software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience working with GIS tools is an asset
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure (DMZ, WAN/LAN, ODBC, etc.) is an asset
  • Previous experience working with Jira is an asset
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within North America
