We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and resources to individuals and families in need. As a Case Worker, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing service plans, and ensuring that clients receive the necessary assistance.
Responsibilities
Conduct interviews with clients to assess their needs and gather relevant information.
Draft legal documents and service plans that outline the support required for each client.
Maintain organized files and accurate data entry of client information into our systems.
Utilize research tools such as Lexis-Nexis to gather pertinent information for case management.
Manage case documentation to ensure all records are up-to-date and accessible.
Provide clients with information about available resources and services in the community.
Exhibit professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, service providers, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Experience
Previous experience in case management or social services is preferred.
Proficiency in legal drafting and familiarity with relevant legal terminology is highly desirable.
Strong interviewing skills to effectively engage with clients and assess their situations.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records is essential.
Familiarity with research tools like Lexis-Nexis is a plus.
Proficient in using document management systems such as iManage.
