The Immersion Camps Coordinator is a full-time continuing role that exists within the Indigenous Language Immersion in Anishinaabemowin (ILIA) program that is overseen by the Department of Anthropology. The ILIA program will serve students enrolled in the Indigenous Language Immersion in Anishinaabemowin stream of the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Indigenous Languages.
The successful candidate will coordinate the immersion camps and other community- and land-based learning in the Anishinaabe Immersion program, coordinate the Mentor-Apprentice program, and provide administrative support for the ILIA program. The position will liaise between students, staff, and faculty in the ILIA program.
