TAIE International Institute is seeking a dedicated and passionate
ESL Teacher
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teachingEnglish as a Second Language (ESL) courses from ESLAO to ESLEO levels
, helping students improve their language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Ontario ESL curriculum. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and class participation. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students develop their English skills. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.TESL/TEFL certification
(preferred).Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)
designation is an asset but not required. Experience teaching ESL at the high school level is preferred. Strong communication and classroom management skills.Schedule & Compensation:
Classes will be held
in person
at our campus.Teaching schedule to be determined based on availability and student needs.
Hourly pay: $25 per hour.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
