About the Opportunity
The Nova Scotia Health Authority's Information Management and Technology services include clinical and business applications support, technology related project management, business services, telecom services. NSHA IM/IT is also the host organization for Clinical Applications Support across the province and in this capacity is responsible for clinical applications support for external entities/clients including IWK, primary care physicians and providers, retail pharmacies. NSHA IM/IT has a key partnership with the Internal Services Department of the Province of Nova Scotia, who provides technical/infrastructure services for itself and its clients.
Reporting to the IM/IT Director, the IM/IT Manager has responsibility for managing projects and/or services as assigned and are the responsibility of the Nova Scotia Health Authority. The IM/IT Manager oversees a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the strategic and tactical planning, design, implementation and support of all information management and technology solutions, projects and services across IWK, NSHA, and it's many external clients, in partnership with the provinces Internal Services Department and the Department of Health and Wellness.
