  • Your customer service skills are top notch - you can assess a customer\'s needs quickly and sell them a solution, providing all sorts of support to aid them in their buying decision
  • You are a total people-person and can strike up a conversation easily
  • You have an obvious passion for IKEA products and design, as well as our Sustainability commitment
  • You have about 6-month work experience in a high-volume sales or customer service environment
  • You are totally cool working in a physically demanding, fast-paced, work environment
  • You are comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs (remember, it isn\'t continuous lifting and you can get buddy support if you need to!)

  • Provide visitors with a positive shopping experience by ensuring customer convenience standards in your sales area are met or exceeded
  • Ensure merchandise is presented according to IKEA standards and is properly labeled and signed
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures
  • Train and coach apprentices on product features, services, customer selling skills and technical requirements
  • Contribute to an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers
  • Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur

The starting rate/salary for this position ranges from $ 38000 to $ 50000 and will be based on relevant work experience.P.S.
