Identity Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Contract position in Richmond (Hybrid):
On behalf of our client in Richmond, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for an Identity Specialist with our client for a contract opportunity.

Role Description:
The Identity Specialist is responsible for:

  • ensuring the stability and availability of the Identity and Access Management infrastructure for all business applications
  • planning, developing, implementing and supporting new and existing Identity and Access Management systems
  • acting as a technical consultant to project teams
  • defining and evaluating new methodologies and procedures
  • addressing new requirements
  • pursuing enhancements and improvements to new Identity and Access Management design and existing infrastructure

This is a professional-level job which has access to confidential files and materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Administers the operation, support and maintenance of Company\xe2\x80\x99s Identity and Access Management systems. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, documenting and optimizing.
  • Delivers and supports the Identity and Access Management infrastructure including, but not limited to a) Broadcom Identity Minder b) Broadcom SiteMinder/Single Sign-On c) Azure single sign on d) Privileged Identity Management e) Microsoft Azure Active Directory Services f) Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services g) Microsoft Azure Conditional access policies
  • Leads the design of the Identity and Access Management technologies. Manages the Identity and Access Management lifecycle of technologies.
  • Monitors the Incident Management System and reports, investigates and coordinates problem resolution efforts. Records incidents in the designated tracking tool and provides documentation to assist in tracking of diagnosis and resolutions.
  • Ensures that Client Identity and Access Management systems are able to satisfy current and projected business requirements by: a) identifying gaps in the Identity and Access Management infrastructure; b) researching, evaluating, and making recommendations relating to the latest developments in Identity and Access Management solutions. c) participating and acting as a subject matter expert in the creation of Identity and Access Management business cases; d) ensuring integration of business and technology goals by coordinating the integration of complex business systems, and by helping design teams make critical design decisions.
  • Liaises with the Design & Integration cross-functional team in the capacity of a subject matter expert in projects relating to infrastructure design and integration as well as technology strategies.
  • Develops, executes and maintains Identity and Access Management support and operations documentation and procedures. Installs, configures and manages network management tools.
  • Builds, manages, supports and tears down Identity and Access management infrastructure that is managed by company, or oversees service providers contracted for this purpose.
  • Responds as needed and resolves all Identity and Access management platform, performance and related incidents end-to-end, coordinating as necessary between different service providers and with internal support teams. Ensures that root cause analysis is completed for all reported incidents.
  • Oversees operations and contract teams by monitoring and reviewing services provided by IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and related service providers, ensuring that appropriate service levels are being met, and identifying gaps and failures in service delivery.
  • Coordinates analysis to determine the viability and relative benefits of various internal and external service alternatives for Identity and Access Management infrastructure.
  • Plans, Coordinates and implements changes to Identity and Access Management, platform and related services.
  • Collaborates with IT teams (ie. Architecture Infrastructure, Capacity Management, Application Support and others) to ensure that Identity and Access Management infrastructure services are capable of meeting all functional and non-functional requirements and deliver the required availability and security levels.
  • Leads and designs Identity and Access Management feature enhancements as requested by various business stakeholders.
  • Proactively reviews service delivery performance and documents issues and recommends improvements.
  • Provides guidance and partners with project managers, service providers and vendors to effective and efficient delivery of Identity and Access Management infrastructure.
  • Reviews all IT planned changes and relevant security advisories for potential Identity and Access Management impact and remediation.
  • Defines and evaluates new methodologies and procedures capable of responding to evolving and changing demands.
  • Functions as a supervisor on large and/or complex tasks or projects, as assigned, including a) participating in supervisory activities, including providing daily work directions to staff, contractors and consultants, conducting selection interviews and providing input into hiring decisions and authorizing overtime within established guidelines. b) assigning tasks and providing technical guidance, work direction and/or training to other team members; c) liaising with Manager to report on project status or technical problems with proposed modifications or new applications; d) resolving all project problems; referring to Manager, as appropriate.
  • Keeps up to date of new developments in Identity and Access Management technologies and best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple Identity and access management software i.e. Broadcom, Ping, IBM, Oracle
  • Custom identity management connectors
  • Single sign-on and federation technologies
  • Experience with automated identity provisioning
  • Able to comply with company\xe2\x80\x99s Employee and Contractor Mandatory Vaccine Policy
  • Development and programming knowledge e.g., Java, APIs
  • Experience with LDAP directories
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure security e.g., Conditional access policies, Azure SSO, PIM
  • Security certifications e.g., CISSP, CISM, SSCP, etc.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure
