We also work with police departments and municipalities to help in keeping Canadians safe.Make a difference!Job Title: Identification Services Operator (Military Police Unit)Location: Victoria, BC - CFB EsquimaltWage: $22.34- $22.89Hours of Work: 0800-1600, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidaysThe Identification Services Operator assists the Identification Specialist Supervisor with providing identification services including photographing and fingerprinting personnel employed at CFB Esquimalt and the surrounding area.RESPONSIBILITIESxc2xb7 Control and issue personal identification cards.xc2xb7 Write, edit, print, process, and deliver identification forms, changes and renewals.xc2xb7 Maintain a filing system and control register.xc2xb7 Amend and issue/distribute identification and security policies.xc2xb7 Take photographs and fingerprint personnel.xc2xb7 Information Technology Storage Media (ITSM) Custodian.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSxc2xb7 Must be willing to complete Commissionaires Security Guard Online Course (CSOC)xc2xb7 Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 BC Driverxe2x80x99s licence and be able to obtain a valid DND 404 driverxe2x80x99s licence.xc2xb7 Must have Reliable Security Screening and named on the VCR for CFB Esquimalt.xc2xb7 Must be able to obtain a Level II (Secret) security clearance issued by Public Works & Government Services Canada (PWGSC).- Must be living in Canada for more than 10 years, be a Permanent Resident/Canadian Citizenxc2xb7 Knowledge of Government requirements for verifying identity.xc2xb7 Knowledge of military writing would be an asset.xc2xb7 Ability to utilize organizational skills.xc2xb7 Excellent interpersonal skills, as person must deal with all ranks and levels of DND personnel.xc2xb7 Ability to work as part of a team, with outstanding customer service skills.xc2xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.xc2xb7 Ability to work independently/under stress.xc2xb7 Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.xc2xb7 Ability and flexibility to deal effectively and efficiently with rapidly changing situations.xc2xb7 Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.xc2xb7 Be able to attend identification courses at Ottawa.
