The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the on-site supervision of construction activities that take place on Prica Group Construction Management Inc. work sites, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, workmanship and efficiency. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the management of all on-site construction workers and enforcement of all required safety and work regulation policies. All work crews and individuals on-site shall take direction from the site supervisor, who is responsible for assigning required work and applying resources to accomplish that work to support the project schedule and quality.
Primary Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Mobilization
Work with project manager planning for the start of construction site that includes reviewing contractor scope of work, planning mobilization, construction layout and surveying, inspecting adjacent constructions
Plan and setup of temporary facilities, including determining the layout, acquiring necessary permits, and coordinating with vendors and subcontractors for the timely delivery and installation of temporary structures. Example, prepare and coordinate staging areas plans for material handling, deliveries, offices, portable washrooms, cranes, hoist, swing stages, scaffolding, and any temporary equipment throughout the project life
Plan and oversee site mobilization, including construction layout and surveying
Inspect adjacent constructions to ensure there are no conflicts or issues that may arise
Reinforce and conduct kick-off procedures for construction activities
Monitoring and Execution
Track daily progress on the construction site and record as daily reports for every job site
Monitor the work of various teams, identify issues, and find solutions to keep the project on track
Execute project planning and scheduling of sub-contractors on site
Responsible for site meetings as required, ensuring sign and sign out, action planning and documentation all meetings are maintained
Promptly Inform the Project Manager of any anticipated delays, or changes in the scope of work
Ensure all work completed by sub-contractors are compliant with contract specifications, and drawings
Advise and reinforce with trades on our quality control standards.
Ensure first aid and emergency response procedures are followed, including CPR and basic first aid
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and Prica Group Health and Safety standards.

Communication and Coordination:
Provide direction for Assistant Site Supervisor and Foremen in provision and execution of operating strategies and plans
Demonstrate and maintain effective and open dialogue with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations and any deviation in the direction of the project
Promote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors instilling this philosophy in project team at all times
Effectively communicate with all project members including Project Team, Sub-Trades, Consultant(s), Owner
Record Keeping and Documentation
Maintain detailed documentation of all aspects of the project, including daily reports, time sheets, material deliveries, incident reports, and other relevant records.
Ensure accurate records are kept tracking progress and resolve site disputes.
Requirements:

Minimum experience as a Construction Site Supervisor of 5 years in ICI projects
Minimum high school diploma
College diploma in appropriate construction related field an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
Working knowledge of all CSI Divisions
Understands the sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules
Understands the function and purpose of final product
Uses the knowledge to challenge the appropriateness of work in progress
A solid understanding of all construction trades and construction techniques
Strong management, delegation, planning and leadership skills
Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
First Aid, Fall Arrest and/or other relevant certificates are considered assets
Class G license
Effectiveness in the areas of construction, safety and productivity
Knowledge of provincial workplace compliance regulations and legislation
Ability to understand engineering drawings and blueprints and equipment specifications
Notable communications, clearly and concisely in multiple forms of media
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
In-depth knowledge of the construction industry operations specifically construction specifications, building materials, methods, and procedures
Can react quickly to changing circumstances
