About the Role
EcoStar Insulation is seeking an experienced ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) Estimator to join our growing team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates for spray foam, batt, blown-in, and fireproofing projects across the GTA and beyond.
Responsibilities
Review drawings, specs, and tender documents for ICI projects. Complete take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals. Attend site visits and perform measurements when needed. Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotes for accuracy. Coordinate with project managers during handoff and project planning. Track bid deadlines and manage multiple tenders. Maintain strong relationships with GCs, developers, and suppliers.
Qualifications
2+ years of construction estimating experience; insulation experience is an asset. Strong understanding of ICI construction and building envelope systems. Proficiency with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar software. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills. Valid G-class driver's licence for site visits.
