As an Ice Cream Maker, you will play a vital role in creating delicious and high-quality ice cream products that delight our customers. Responsibilities

Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes for ice cream production. Operate ice cream machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor the production process to ensure quality control and adherence to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, including measuring, mixing, and pouring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, including cashiering duties as needed. Upsell products by suggesting additional items to customers during their visit. Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

Experience in the food service industry is preferred, particularly in roles involving food handling and preparation. Strong understanding of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Cashiering experience with the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively. Ability to upsell products through effective communication and product knowledge. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for the food industry and a willingness to learn new techniques related to ice cream making.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
