Duties

Prepare and produce a variety of ice cream flavors while adhering to recipes and quality standards. Operate ice cream machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Assist customers in selecting flavors, providing recommendations, and upselling additional products. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including processing payments and giving change. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food handling environment is preferred but not required. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Ability to sanitize work areas properly and adhere to food safety standards. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience with upselling techniques is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
