Overview

Better Acres Ice Cream is looking for enthusiastic, passionate ice cream Scoopers!

As a Scooper, you will play an important role in connecting customers with our better ice cream experience. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in the food industry and have a passion for better, wholesome, natural foods and enjoy connecting with locals and tourists from all around the world.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream flavours and toppings to customers. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the serving area and kitchen. Engage with customers, providing friendly service while upselling menu items. Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to maintain food safety. Assist in inventory management by keeping track of supplies and notifying management when stock is low. Collaboration and team player support.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Ability to manage time efficiently, especially during busy periods. Experience with food preparation and serving is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
