Working within a high-performance design and verification teams, you will assist with developing RTL and/or verification code, which will be used in our current Network Processor work. Work includes using the System Verilog language for RTL and testbench development, creation and modification of scripts to improve the workflow of our world class ASIC development team. The successful applicant will learn and contribute to many aspects of our ASIC development flow.

Qualifications

• Required experience with object oriented programming or scripting
• Required experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Tcl, Csh/ bash, etc
• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse would be an asset
• Experience with compile/build environments using Linux, GNU Make, etc. would be an asset
• Experience with compute load sharing distribution systems such as LSF, GridEngine, etc. would be an asset
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog/ Verilog and simulators such as VCS, Incisive, Questa, etc. would be an asset
• Knowledge and interest in circuit design, and implementation tools such Design Compiler, Genus, or other RTL synthesis tools would be an asset
• Currently enrolled in a university and registered with school's co-op program.
