We are seeking an experienced IBM Mainframe Specialist with 8-10 years of hands-on expertise in mainframe technologies and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.




Location - Downtown (Hybrid - 3 to 4 days office and remaining remote)

Your future duties and responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications on IBM Mainframe platforms, including Z15 architecture. Manage and optimize transaction processing using CICS, messaging middleware with MQ, and database/transaction management through IMS. Write and maintain programs using COBOL, JCL, and related mainframe languages. Perform system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution to ensure high availability and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate enterprise applications and messaging solutions. Prepare technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

8-10 years of experience in IBM Mainframe environments. Strong knowledge of IBM Mainframe Z15 architecture. Expertise in CICS, MQ, IMS, COBOL, and JCL. Proven experience in system performance tuning and issue resolution. Solid understanding of enterprise application integration and messaging solutions. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Language: English (bilingual in English and French is an asset).
