Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
IB English Tutor
to support International Baccalaureate (IB) students inEnglish A: Language & Literature and/or English A: Literature
. The tutor will help students build strong analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills while preparing for IB assessments and exams.Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring for IB English students Support students with Paper 1, Paper 2, Individual Oral (IO), HL Essay, and Internal Assessments Help students develop close-reading, textual analysis, and essay-writing skills Offer constructive feedback on written work and oral practice Adapt lessons to individual learning styles and IB grade descriptors
Requirements
Strong background in
IB English curriculum
(teaching or tutoring experience preferred) Excellent knowledge of literary analysis and academic writing Ability to explain complex ideas clearly and patiently Reliable, organized, and student-focusedPreferred Qualifications
IB teaching certification or examiner experience University degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
