Rogers is seeking an experienced IAM (Identity and Access Management) Platform Engineer to join Information and Cyber Security unit (ICSU) IAM delivery team with a strong focus on Cyber Security . As an IAM Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM platforms and infrastructure. Your role will focus on building and managing IAM systems, ensuring their scalability, reliability, and security. This position requires a deep understanding of IAM technologies, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.

What you will be doing:

  • Define detailed design artifacts and document IAM implementation tasks to meet business and system requirements.
  • Configure and customize IAM platforms based on organizational needs and industry best practices.
  • Deploy, configure and maintain IAM software and components, such as identity management, single sign-on, federation services and privileged access management tools.
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to integrate IAM platforms into existing systems and applications.
  • Develop and implement based on defined IAM architectures, including access control policies, user provisioning, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Develop and implement integration solutions using APIs, protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth), and directory services (e.g., LDAP).
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Implement identity lifecycle management processes and workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and streamline IAM workflows and processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT security, application development, and operations, to align IAM strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  • Document IAM platform configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and implementation activities.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • Ensure secure and seamless user provisioning, authentication, and authorization processes across the organization.
  • Implement security controls, policies, and procedures to protect IAM platforms and data.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to respond to security incidents and address security-related concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends by Continuously research and evaluate new IAM technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proactively provides objective feedback to consultants and development partners to ensure proper execution of projects.
What you have:
  • Proficiency in IAM technologies, such as identity management, single sign-on, identity federation and privileged access management systems.
  • Strong understanding of authentication protocols and standards (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Expert level knowledge in integrating clients with OpenID and OAuth
  • Proficiency in deploying and configuring IAM systems such as identity providers (e.g., Transmit Security, Okta, Azure AD), access management tools (e.g., SailPoint, Ping Identity), and federation services (e.g., ADFS).
  • Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.
  • Experience with IAM integration techniques, including APIs, LDAP, and directory services.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Experience implementing access control models and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
  • Experience with messaging protocols such as JSON, REST, SOAP
  • Familiarity with cloud-based IAM solutions (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure AD) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex IAM challenges.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
