Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hydrovac Swamper to join our team in Fort McMurray .

As a Hydrovac Swamper, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operation of hydrovac trucks and ensuring efficient excavation processes. This position requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to work in various outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

Assist the operator in the safe and efficient operation of hydrovac equipment. Support excavation tasks by using high-pressure water to loosen soil for easy removal. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to execute excavation projects effectively. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Help with site preparation and cleanup after excavation work is completed.

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with

hydrovac trucks.

Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively. Ability to dig as required for various projects. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
