Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Experienced Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks to safely excavate and expose underground utilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in various environments.

Responsibilities

Operate hydrovac trucks for safe excavation of underground utilities. Conduct pre-trip inspections on equipment to ensure operational safety. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular checks and basic maintenance. Collaborate with team members to plan excavation projects and ensure efficient operations. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on-site to minimize risks. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding project status and any issues that arise. Assist in training new operators as needed.

Skills

Proficient in heavy equipment operation. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment. Experience with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus. Valid commercial driving license (CDL). Ability to build rapport with team members and clients through effective communication. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
