Hydrovac Operator
Job Description
Safeline Utility Services Inc. is a busy Utility Construction Company with a shop located in Smithville ON. We are seeking candidates who are able to operate a hydrovac and /or excavators in various terrain/hills. Floating equipment to site is part of the role. Hydrovac experience is required. Candidates that are mechanically inclined will be given priority. Use of ELD logs required, and detailed daily paperwork including pre trip, pre inspection, pre job safety, and work tickets are mandatory.
Candidates will have full AZ/DZ license with clean abstract. The work area is extensive, and overnight stays for 1 - 5 days is not uncommon.
The work is completed in small teams, typically Monday to Friday. There is potential for longer days, and emergency call out work after hours, and weekends.
On call rotation for emergency calls is mandatory. Approximately 1 week per month.
