Hydro Vac Operator
Job Description
Scott Hydro-Vac Ltd. is looking to add to our growing team. We are currently accepting applications for Hydro-Vac Operators based out of Fort St. John, BC. Competitive wages with benefits after 3 months of employment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform and complete pre-trip & hazards assessments
Conduct general Hydrovac work from industrial cleaning to non-destructive underground utility exposure
Operate equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Adhere to company policies and procedures for routine maintenance and general housekeeping.
Perform minor truck repairs as needed.
Assist around the shop as required.
Comply with all company rules and procedures for safe work practices, maintain and utilize appropriate PPE
Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Operators: Valid Class 3 or Class 1 Driver's license with air endorsement
Good communication skills.
Safety Tickets: Must have First Aid, H2S Alive
Flexible work schedule, willingness to work overtime, weekends, out of town and emergency call-outs as required
Physical ability to perform tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour
