Hydrovac Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The Hydrovac Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining hydro excavation equipment to safely and efficiently complete various excavation projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate hydro excavation equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform hydro excavation around sensitive underground utilities
- Follow project plans and blueprints to complete excavation tasks
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers
Skills
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
